One week after its launch by the Prime Minister, Dr. Navin Ramgoolam, the National Teledon in favour of Haiti has generated Rs 12 362 222.96 ... a sum that goes beyond the expectations of the Chairman of the ministerial committee, Jean-François Chaumière.
The Minister reiterates his thanks, on behalf of the Government, to the people of Mauritius for their generosity and to all those who have participated benevolently in the organisation of this national event.
Donations are still welcome until 12 p.m. (noon) on Friday, 05 February and maybe submitted as follows:
